[892] For whomever the truth of suffering (dukkhasacca) arises, will the truth of the path (maggasacca) arise for him?
At the moment of the arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of the highest path (aggamagga); for Arahants, at the moment of the arising of mind (citta); and for those worldlings (puthujjana) who will not obtain the path — as they are being reborn and, in the course of existence (pavatta), at the moment of the arising of mind — the truth of suffering arises for these, but the truth of the path will not arise for them. At the moment of the arising of the mind immediately after which they will obtain the highest path; and for those others who will obtain the path — as they are being reborn and, in the course of existence, at the moment of the arising of mind — the truth of suffering arises for these, and the truth of the path will arise.
Or rather, for whomever the truth of the path will arise, does the truth of suffering arise for him?
At the moment of the dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa) of the mind immediately after which they will obtain the highest path; and for those others who will obtain the path — as they are passing away and, in the course of existence, at the moment of the dissolution of mind, and, in the immaterial [plane] (arūpa), at the moment of the arising of the path and of fruition (phala) — the truth of the path will arise for these, but the truth of suffering does not arise for them. At the moment of the arising of the mind immediately after which they will obtain the highest path; and for those others who will obtain the path — as they are being reborn and, in the course of existence, at the moment of the arising of mind — the truth of the path will arise for these, and the truth of suffering arises.
