[834] For whomever the truth of suffering (dukkhasacca) arises, does the truth of the path (maggasacca) arise for that one?
For all who are taking rebirth, and, in the course of existence (pavatta), at the moment of arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of a mind (citta) dissociated from the path, the truth of suffering arises for them, but the truth of the path does not arise for them. In the five-constituent existence (pañcavokāra), at the moment of arising of the path, for them both the truth of suffering arises and the truth of the path arises.
Or else, for whomever the truth of the path arises, does the truth of suffering arise for that one?
In the formless existence (arūpa), at the moment of arising of the path, the truth of the path arises for them, but the truth of suffering does not arise for them. In the five-constituent existence, at the moment of arising of the path, for them both the truth of the path arises and the truth of suffering arises.
