For those passing away from the sense sphere (kāmāvacara), for non-males being reborn into the sense sphere, and for beings of the form sphere (rūpāvacara) and of the formless sphere (arūpāvacara): the life faculty had arisen for them there, but the masculinity faculty does not arise for them there. For males who are being reborn, the life faculty had arisen for them there and the masculinity faculty arises.
