[1138] For whomever, wherever, the masculinity faculty (purisindriya) arises, will the faith faculty (saddhindriya) … the wisdom faculty (paññindriya), the mind faculty (manindriya) arise for that one there?
For final-existence (pacchimabhavika) males who are being reborn: the masculinity faculty arises for them there, but the mind faculty will not arise for them there. For the other males who are being reborn: both the masculinity faculty arises for them there and the mind faculty will arise.
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the mind faculty will arise, does the masculinity faculty arise for that one there?
For those passing away from the sense sphere (kāmāvacara), for non-males being reborn into the sense sphere, for beings of the form sphere (rūpāvacara), and for beings of the formless sphere (arūpāvacara): the mind faculty will arise for them there, but the masculinity faculty does not arise for them there. For males who are being reborn: both the mind faculty will arise for them there and the masculinity faculty arises.
