Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 1210

[1210] For whomever and wherever the masculinity faculty (purisindriya) does not arise, will the faith faculty (saddhindriya) not arise for that one there? For those passing away from the sense sphere (kāmāvacara), for non-male beings being reborn into the sense sphere, for beings of the form sphere (rūpāvacara), and for beings of the formless sphere (arūpāvacara): for them there the masculinity faculty does not arise, but it is not the case that for them there the faith faculty will not arise. For those attaining final Nibbāna (parinibbanta) in the sense sphere, for beings in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) in the form sphere and in the formless sphere, and for non-percipient beings (asaññasatta): for them there the masculinity faculty does not arise, and the faith faculty will not arise. Or, for whomever and wherever the faith faculty will not arise, does the masculinity faculty not arise for that one there? For males in their final existence who are being reborn: for them there the faith faculty will not arise, but it is not the case that for them there the masculinity faculty does not arise. For those attaining final Nibbāna in the sense sphere, for beings in their final existence in the form sphere and in the formless sphere, and for non-percipient beings: for them there the faith faculty will not arise, and the masculinity faculty does not arise.
