For those passing away from the sense sphere (kāmāvacara), for those who are not male being reborn into the sense sphere, and for beings of the form sphere (rūpāvacara) and of the formless sphere (arūpāvacara): for them there the equanimity faculty has arisen, but the masculinity faculty does not arise for them there. For males being reborn: for them there both the equanimity faculty has arisen and the masculinity faculty arises.
