[117] Where unwholesome (akusala) phenomena (dhammā) arose, did indeterminate (abyākata) phenomena arise there? Yes. Or else, where indeterminate phenomena arose, did unwholesome phenomena arise there? Among non-percipient beings (asaññasatta), indeterminate phenomena arose there, but unwholesome phenomena did not arise there. In the four-constituent existence (catuvokāra) and in the five-constituent existence (pañcavokāra), both indeterminate phenomena arose there and unwholesome phenomena arose there.
