Uppādanirodhavāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 305

[305] Where unwholesome phenomena (akusalā dhammā) arose, did indeterminate phenomena (abyākatā dhammā) cease there? Yes. Or rather, where indeterminate phenomena ceased, did unwholesome phenomena arise there? In [the plane of] non-percipient beings (asaññasatta), indeterminate phenomena ceased there, but unwholesome phenomena did not arise there; in the four-constituent (catuvokāra) and the five-constituent (pañcavokāra) [planes], both indeterminate phenomena ceased there and unwholesome phenomena arose there.
