Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 1194

[1194] For whomever, wherever, the nose faculty (ghānindriya) does not arise, will the femininity faculty (itthindriya) not arise for that one there? For those passing away from the sense sphere (kāmāvacara) and for the noseless (aghānaka) being reborn into the sense sphere: for these, the nose faculty does not arise there, yet it is not the case that the femininity faculty will not arise for them there. For those attaining final Nibbāna in the sense sphere, for beings of the form sphere (rūpāvacara), for beings of the formless sphere (arūpāvacara), and for those males (purisa) who, in that very state (bhāva), will pass through some number of existences and then attain final Nibbāna: for these, as they pass away — for them, there, the nose faculty does not arise and the femininity faculty will not arise. Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the femininity faculty will not arise, does the nose faculty not arise for that one there? For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) being reborn into the sense sphere, and for those males who, in that very state, will pass through some number of existences and then attain final Nibbāna: for these, as they are being reborn, the femininity faculty will not arise for them there, yet it is not the case that the nose faculty does not arise for them there. For those attaining final Nibbāna in the sense sphere, for beings of the form sphere, for beings of the formless sphere, and for those males who, in that very state, will pass through some number of existences and then attain final Nibbāna: for these, as they pass away — for them, there, the femininity faculty will not arise and the nose faculty does not arise.
