Cakkhundarīya

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 1291

[1291] For whomever, wherever, the equanimity faculty (upekkhindriya) arose, will the faith faculty (saddhindriya) … the wisdom faculty (paññindriya), the mind faculty (manindriya) arise for that one there? For those possessed of the final mind (pacchimacitta-samaṅgī), the equanimity faculty arose for them there, but the mind faculty will not arise for them there; for the others — those with four aggregates (catuvokāra) and those with five aggregates (pañcavokāra) — both the equanimity faculty arose for them there and the mind faculty will arise. Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the mind faculty will arise, did the equanimity faculty arise for that one there? For those being reborn into the Pure Abodes (Suddhāvāsa), the mind faculty will arise for them there, but the equanimity faculty did not arise for them there; for the others — those with four aggregates and those with five aggregates — both the mind faculty will arise for them there and the equanimity faculty arose.
