Cakkhundarīya

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 776

[776] For whomever, wherever the joy faculty (somanassindriya) has arisen, has the faith faculty (saddhindriya) … the wisdom faculty (paññindriya), the mind faculty (manindriya) arisen for that one there? — Yes. Or, for whomever, wherever the mind faculty has arisen, has the joy faculty arisen for that one there? — For those of the Pure Abodes (Suddhāvāsa), while the second mind (citta) is occurring, the mind faculty has arisen for them there, but the joy faculty has not arisen for them there. For the others — those of four constituents (catuvokāra) and of five constituents (pañcavokāra) — both the mind faculty has arisen for them there and the joy faculty has arisen for them there.
