[1332] For whom, wherever, the faith faculty (saddhindriya) did not arise, will the wisdom faculty (paññindriya) … the mind faculty (manindriya) not arise for him there?
For those being reborn into the Pure Abodes (suddhāvāsa), the faith faculty did not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the mind faculty will not arise for them there. For the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), the faith faculty did not arise for them there, and the mind faculty will not arise.
Or rather, for whom, wherever, the mind faculty will not arise, did the faith faculty not arise for him there?
For those possessed of the final mind (pacchimacittasamaṅgī), the mind faculty will not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the faith faculty did not arise for them there. For the non-percipient beings, the mind faculty will not arise for them there, and the faith faculty did not arise.
