[1331] For whomever, wherever, the equanimity faculty (upekkhindriya) has not arisen, will the wisdom faculty (paññindriya) … the mind faculty (manindriya) not arise for that one there?
For those being reborn into the Pure Abodes (Suddhāvāsa), the equanimity faculty has not arisen for them there, but it is not the case that the mind faculty will not arise for them there. For the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), for them there both the equanimity faculty has not arisen and the mind faculty will not arise.
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the mind faculty will not arise, has the equanimity faculty not arisen for that one there?
For those endowed with the final mind (pacchimacittasamaṅgī), the mind faculty will not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the equanimity faculty has not arisen for them there. For the non-percipient beings, for them there both the mind faculty will not arise and the equanimity faculty has not arisen.
