[1355] Did one who fully understood the eye faculty (cakkhundriya) abandon the grief faculty (domanassindriya)? Yes. Or else, did one who abandoned the grief faculty fully understand the eye faculty? Two persons abandoned the grief faculty but did not fully understand the eye faculty; the Arahant both abandoned the grief faculty and fully understood the eye faculty.
