Pariññāvāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 1388

[1388] One who will not fully understand (parijānissati) the eye faculty (cakkhundriya) — will that one not realize (sacchikarissati) the perfect-knower faculty (aññātāvindriya)? One endowed with the supreme path (aggamaggasamaṅgī) will not fully understand the eye faculty, yet it is not the case that he will not realize the perfect-knower faculty. Two persons will both not fully understand the eye faculty and not realize the perfect-knower faculty. Or rather: one who will not realize the perfect-knower faculty — will that one not fully understand the eye faculty? Yes.
