Pariññāvāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 1428

[1428] "Whoever does not fully understand (parijānāti) the eye faculty (cakkhundriya), will that one not realize (sacchikarissati) the perfect-knower faculty (aññātāvindriya)?" Seven persons do not fully understand the eye faculty, yet it is not the case that they will not realize the perfect-knower faculty. Two persons both do not fully understand the eye faculty and will not realize the perfect-knower faculty. "Or rather, whoever will not realize the perfect-knower faculty, does that one not fully understand the eye faculty?" "Yes (āmantā)."
