Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 1447

[1447] Whoever did not fully understand the eye faculty (cakkhundriya), will that person not develop the perfect-knowledge faculty (aññindriya)? Seven persons did not fully understand the eye faculty, but it is not the case that they will not develop the perfect-knowledge faculty. Two persons did not fully understand the eye faculty and will not develop the perfect-knowledge faculty. Or rather, whoever will not develop the perfect-knowledge faculty, did that person not fully understand the eye faculty? The Arahant will not develop the perfect-knowledge faculty, but it is not the case that he did not fully understand the eye faculty. Two persons will not develop the perfect-knowledge faculty and did not fully understand the eye faculty.
