[14] Whose mind (citta), while arising, has passed beyond moment after moment, its time gone by (khaṇaṃ khaṇaṃ vītikkantaṃ atikkantakālaṃ) — is that one's mind, while ceasing, one that has passed beyond moment after moment, its time gone by? Or else, whose mind, while ceasing, has passed beyond moment after moment, its time gone by — is that one's mind, while arising, one that has passed beyond moment after moment, its time gone by? Whose mind, while not arising, has passed beyond moment after moment, its time gone by — is that one's mind, while not ceasing, one that has passed beyond moment after moment, its time gone by? Or else, whose mind, while not ceasing, has passed beyond moment after moment, its time gone by — is that one's mind, while not arising, one that has passed beyond moment after moment, its time gone by?
