[42] Whatever mind (citta) of whatever person, while arising, has passed beyond moment (khaṇa) after moment, its time gone by — has that mind of that person, while ceasing, passed beyond moment after moment, its time gone by? Or, whatever mind of whatever person, while ceasing, has passed beyond moment after moment, its time gone by — has that mind of that person, while arising, passed beyond moment after moment, its time gone by?
Whatever mind of whatever person has not, while arising, passed beyond moment after moment, its time gone by — has that mind of that person not, while ceasing, passed beyond moment after moment, its time gone by? Or, whatever mind of whatever person has not, while ceasing, passed beyond moment after moment, its time gone by — has that mind of that person not, while arising, passed beyond moment after moment, its time gone by?
