[1421] Whoever abandons the grief faculty (domanassindriya), will he realize the perfect-knower faculty (aññātāvindriya)?
Yes.
Or rather, whoever will realize the perfect-knower faculty, does he abandon the grief faculty?
Seven persons will realize the perfect-knower faculty, but they do not abandon the grief faculty; the person endowed with the path of non-returning (anāgāmi-magga) will realize the perfect-knower faculty and also abandons the grief faculty.
