[1431] Whoever does not abandon the grief faculty (domanassindriya), will that one not realize the perfect-knower faculty (aññātāvindriya)?
Seven persons do not abandon the grief faculty, yet it is not the case that they will not realize the perfect-knower faculty; two persons both do not abandon the grief faculty and will not realize the perfect-knower faculty.
Or rather, whoever will not realize the perfect-knower faculty, does that one not abandon the grief faculty?
