[1430] One who does not abandon the grief faculty (domanassindriya) — will that one not develop the perfect-knowledge faculty (aññindriya)?
Six persons do not abandon the grief faculty, but it is not the case that they will not develop the perfect-knowledge faculty. Three persons both do not abandon the grief faculty and will not develop the perfect-knowledge faculty.
Or rather, one who will not develop the perfect-knowledge faculty — does that one not abandon the grief faculty?
Yes.
