[1422] Whoever develops the 'I shall come to know the unknown' faculty (anaññātaññassāmītindriya), will he develop the perfect-knowledge faculty (aññindriya)?
Yes.
Or rather, whoever will develop the perfect-knowledge faculty, does he develop the 'I shall come to know the unknown' faculty?
Six persons will develop the perfect-knowledge faculty, but they do not develop the 'I shall come to know the unknown' faculty; the eighth person (aṭṭhamaka) both will develop the perfect-knowledge faculty and develops the 'I shall come to know the unknown' faculty.
