[148] "For whomever wholesome phenomena (dhammā) arise, did unwholesome phenomena arise for that one?" — Yes.
"Or, for whomever unwholesome phenomena arose, do wholesome phenomena arise for that one?" — For all [beings] at the moment of the dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa) of mind (citta), at the moment of the arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of a mind dissociated from the wholesome, for those who have attained cessation (nirodhasamāpanna), and for non-percipient beings (asaññasatta): for them, unwholesome phenomena arose, yet wholesome phenomena do not arise for them. At the moment of the arising of wholesome [phenomena], for them, unwholesome phenomena arose and wholesome phenomena arise.
