[171] For whomever unwholesome phenomena (akusalā dhammā) do not arise, will indeterminate phenomena (abyākatā dhammā) not arise for that one?
For all (beings) at the moment of the dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa) of mind (citta), at the moment of the arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of a mind dissociated (vippayutta) from the unwholesome, for those attained to cessation (nirodhasamāpanna), and for non-percipient beings (asaññasatta) — for these, unwholesome phenomena do not arise, but it is not the case that indeterminate phenomena will not arise for them. For those possessed of the final mind (pacchimacittasamaṅgī) — for these, unwholesome phenomena do not arise, and indeterminate phenomena will not arise.
Or, for whomever indeterminate phenomena will not arise, do unwholesome phenomena not arise for that one?
