[299] For whomever, wherever, unwholesome phenomena (akusalā dhammā) do not arise, do indeterminate phenomena (abyākatā dhammā) not cease for that one there?
For all who are passing away, and at the moment of dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa) of mind (citta) in the course of existence (pavatta): for them there, unwholesome phenomena do not arise, but it is not the case that indeterminate phenomena do not cease for them there. For all who are being reborn, at the moment of arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of a mind dissociated from the unwholesome in the course of existence, and, in the immaterial plane (arūpa), at the moment of dissolution of wholesome and unwholesome [phenomena]: for them there, unwholesome phenomena do not arise and indeterminate phenomena do not cease.
Or else, for whomever, wherever, indeterminate phenomena do not cease, do unwholesome phenomena not arise for that one there?
At the moment of arising of unwholesome [phenomena]: for them there, indeterminate phenomena do not cease, but it is not the case that unwholesome phenomena do not arise for them there. For all who are being reborn, at the moment of arising of a mind dissociated from the unwholesome in the course of existence, and, in the immaterial plane, at the moment of dissolution of wholesome and unwholesome [phenomena]: for them there, indeterminate phenomena do not cease and unwholesome phenomena do not arise.
