[498] For whom the nose faculty (ghānindriya) arises, does the femininity faculty (itthindriya) arise for that one? For those possessing a nose who are not women, while they are being reborn, the nose faculty arises for them, but the femininity faculty does not arise for them. For those possessing a nose who are women, while they are being reborn, for them both the nose faculty arises and the femininity faculty arises.
Or else, for whom the femininity faculty arises, does the nose faculty arise for that one? For women lacking a nose, while they are being reborn, the femininity faculty arises for them, but the nose faculty does not arise for them. For women possessing a nose, while they are being reborn, for them both the femininity faculty arises and the nose faculty arises.
