[621] "For whomever the nose-faculty (ghānindriya) does not arise, does the mind-faculty (manindriya) not arise for that one?" For those without the nose (aghānaka) who are being reborn with mind (sacittaka), the nose-faculty does not arise for them, but it is not the case that the mind-faculty does not arise for them. For all who are passing away, and for those without mind (acittaka) who are being reborn, the nose-faculty does not arise for them and the mind-faculty does not arise. "Or rather, for whomever the mind-faculty does not arise, does the nose-faculty not arise for that one?" Yes (āmantā).
