Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 691

[691] For whomever, wherever, the nose-faculty (ghānindriya) does not arise, does the mind-faculty (manindriya) not arise for that one there? For those without a nose but with mind who are being reborn, the nose-faculty does not arise for them there, yet it is not the case that the mind-faculty does not arise for them there. For all who are passing away, and for those without mind who are being reborn, the nose-faculty does not arise for them there and the mind-faculty does not arise. Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the mind-faculty does not arise, does the nose-faculty not arise for that one there? Yes.
