[684] For whomever, wherever, the nose faculty (ghānindriya) does not arise, does the femininity faculty (itthindriya) not arise for that one there?
For those without a nose who are female, as they are being reborn: for them, there, the nose faculty does not arise, but it is not the case that the femininity faculty does not arise for them there. For all who are passing away, and for those without a nose who are not female, as they are being reborn: for them, there, the nose faculty does not arise and the femininity faculty does not arise.
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the femininity faculty does not arise, does the nose faculty not arise for that one there?
For those who are not female but possess a nose, as they are being reborn: for them, there, the femininity faculty does not arise, but it is not the case that the nose faculty does not arise for them there. For all who are passing away, and for those who are not female and without a nose, as they are being reborn: for them, there, the femininity faculty does not arise and the nose faculty does not arise.
