[683] "For whomever, wherever, the eye-faculty (cakkhundriya) does not arise, does the mind-faculty (manindriya) not arise for that one there?"
For those without eyes (acakkhuka) but with mind (sacittaka) who are being reborn, the eye-faculty does not arise for them there, yet it is not the case that the mind-faculty does not arise for them there. For all who are passing away, and for those without mind (acittaka) who are being reborn, both the eye-faculty does not arise for them there and the mind-faculty does not arise for them there.
"Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the mind-faculty does not arise, does the eye-faculty not arise for that one there?"
Yes (āmantā).
