Cakkhundarīya

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 613

[613] "For whomever the eye-faculty (cakkhundriya) does not arise, does the mind-faculty (manindriya) not arise for that one?" — For those without eye [but] with mind who are being reborn, the eye-faculty does not arise, yet it is not the case that the mind-faculty does not arise for them. For all who are passing away, [and] for those without mind who are being reborn, both the eye-faculty does not arise and the mind-faculty does not arise. "Or, for whomever the mind-faculty does not arise, does the eye-faculty not arise for that one?" — Yes (āmantā).
