Cakkhundarīya

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 678

[678] For whomever, wherever, the eye-faculty (cakkhundriya) does not arise, does the life-faculty (jīvitindriya) not arise for that one there? For those without eyes who are being reborn, the eye-faculty does not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the life-faculty does not arise for them there. For all who are passing away, the eye-faculty does not arise for them there and the life-faculty does not arise. Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the life-faculty does not arise, does the eye-faculty not arise for that one there? Yes.
