[677] For whomever, wherever, the eye faculty (cakkhundriya) does not arise, does the masculinity faculty (purisindriya) not arise for that one there?
For males without eyes who are being reborn, the eye faculty does not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the masculinity faculty does not arise for them there. For all who are passing away, and for non-males without eyes who are being reborn, the eye faculty does not arise for them there and the masculinity faculty does not arise.
Or else, for whomever, wherever, the masculinity faculty does not arise, does the eye faculty not arise for that one there?
For non-males with eyes who are being reborn, the masculinity faculty does not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the eye faculty does not arise for them there. For all who are passing away, and for non-males without eyes who are being reborn, the masculinity faculty does not arise for them there and the eye faculty does not arise.
