Cakkhundarīya

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 561

[561] For whomever, wherever, the eye faculty (cakkhundriya) arises, does the masculinity faculty (purisindriya) arise for that one there? For those possessed of eyes who are not males, as they are being reborn, the eye faculty arises for them there, but the masculinity faculty does not arise for them there. For those possessed of eyes who are males, as they are being reborn, the eye faculty arises and the masculinity faculty arises for them there. Or, for whomever, wherever, the masculinity faculty arises, does the eye faculty arise for that one there? For males without eyes, as they are being reborn, the masculinity faculty arises for them there, but the eye faculty does not arise for them there. For males possessed of eyes, as they are being reborn, the masculinity faculty arises and the eye faculty arises for them there.
