[491] For whomever the eye faculty (cakkhundriya) arises, does the masculinity faculty (purisindriya) arise for that one?
For those possessed of eyes who are not males and are being reborn, the eye faculty arises for them, but the masculinity faculty does not arise for them. For those possessed of eyes who are males and are being reborn, for them both the eye faculty arises and the masculinity faculty arises.
Or rather, for whomever the masculinity faculty arises, does the eye faculty arise for that one?
For males without eyes who are being reborn, the masculinity faculty arises for them, but the eye faculty does not arise for them. For males possessed of eyes who are being reborn, for them both the masculinity faculty arises and the eye faculty arises.
