[490] For whomever the eye faculty (cakkhundriya) arises, does the femininity faculty (itthindriya) arise for that one?
When those possessed of eyes who are not women are being reborn, the eye faculty arises for them, but the femininity faculty does not arise for them. When those possessed of eyes who are women are being reborn, for them both the eye faculty arises and the femininity faculty arises.
Or rather, for whomever the femininity faculty arises, does the eye faculty arise for that one?
When women who are without eyes are being reborn, the femininity faculty arises for them, but the eye faculty does not arise for them. When women who are possessed of eyes are being reborn, for them both the femininity faculty arises and the eye faculty arises.
