Cakkhundarīya

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 560

[560] For whomever, wherever, the eye faculty (cakkhundriya) arises, does the femininity faculty (itthindriya) arise for that one there? For those possessed of eyes who are not female, as they are being reborn, the eye faculty arises for them there, but the femininity faculty does not arise for them there. For females possessed of eyes, as they are being reborn, for them there both the eye faculty arises and the femininity faculty arises. Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the femininity faculty arises, does the eye faculty arise for that one there? For females without eyes, as they are being reborn, the femininity faculty arises for them there, but the eye faculty does not arise for them there. For females possessed of eyes, as they are being reborn, for them there both the femininity faculty arises and the eye faculty arises.
