[676] For whomever, wherever, the eye faculty (cakkhundriya) does not arise, does the femininity faculty (itthindriya) not arise for that one there?
For eyeless females who are being reborn (upapajjanta), the eye faculty does not arise for them there; but it is not the case that the femininity faculty does not arise for them there. For all who are passing away (cavanta), and for eyeless non-females who are being reborn, for them there both the eye faculty does not arise and the femininity faculty does not arise.
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the femininity faculty does not arise, does the eye faculty not arise for that one there?
For non-females possessed of eyes who are being reborn, the femininity faculty does not arise for them there; but it is not the case that the eye faculty does not arise for them there. For all who are passing away, and for eyeless non-females who are being reborn, for them there both the femininity faculty does not arise and the eye faculty does not arise.
