[608] "For whomever the eye-faculty (cakkhundriya) does not arise, does the life-faculty (jīvitindriya) not arise for that one?"
For those without eyes who are being reborn, the eye-faculty does not arise for them, but it is not the case that the life-faculty does not arise for them. For all who are passing away, for them the eye-faculty does not arise and the life-faculty does not arise.
"Or, for whomever the life-faculty does not arise, does the eye-faculty not arise for that one?"
