[685] For whomever, wherever, the nose faculty (ghānindriya) does not arise, does the masculinity faculty (purisindriya) not arise for that one there?
For those without nose who are being reborn, the nose faculty does not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the masculinity faculty does not arise for them there. For all who are passing away, and for those without nose and not male who are being reborn, for them there both the nose faculty does not arise and the masculinity faculty does not arise.
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the masculinity faculty does not arise, does the nose faculty not arise for that one there?
For those not male but with nose who are being reborn, the masculinity faculty does not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the nose faculty does not arise for them there.
