[702] For whomever, wherever, the masculinity faculty (purisindriya) does not arise, does the faith faculty (saddhindriya) not arise for that one there?
For non-males with roots (sahetuka) who are being reborn, the masculinity faculty does not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the faith faculty does not arise for them there. For all who are passing away, and for non-males without roots (ahetuka) who are being reborn, the masculinity faculty does not arise for them there and the faith faculty does not arise.
Or else, for whomever, wherever, the faith faculty does not arise, does the masculinity faculty not arise for that one there?
For males without roots who are being reborn, the faith faculty does not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the masculinity faculty does not arise for them there. For all who are passing away, and for non-males without roots who are being reborn, the faith faculty does not arise for them there and the masculinity faculty does not arise.
