[703] For whomever, wherever, the masculinity faculty (purisindriya) does not arise, does the wisdom faculty (paññindriya) not arise for that one there? For non-males associated with knowledge (ñāṇa) who are being reborn, the masculinity faculty does not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the wisdom faculty does not arise for them there. For all who are passing away, and for non-males dissociated from knowledge who are being reborn, for them there the masculinity faculty does not arise and the wisdom faculty does not arise. Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the wisdom faculty does not arise, does the masculinity faculty not arise for that one there? For males dissociated from knowledge who are being reborn, the wisdom faculty does not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the masculinity faculty does not arise for them there. For all who are passing away, and for non-males dissociated from knowledge who are being reborn, for them there the wisdom faculty does not arise and the masculinity faculty does not arise.
