[633] For whomever the masculinity faculty (purisindriya) does not arise, does the wisdom faculty (paññindriya) not arise for that one?
For non-males (napurisa) associated with knowledge (ñāṇa) who are being reborn, the masculinity faculty does not arise, but it is not the case that for them the wisdom faculty does not arise. For all who are passing away, and for non-males dissociated from knowledge who are being reborn, for them the masculinity faculty does not arise and the wisdom faculty does not arise.
Or, for whomever the wisdom faculty does not arise, does the masculinity faculty not arise for that one?
For males dissociated from knowledge who are being reborn, the wisdom faculty does not arise, but it is not the case that for them the masculinity faculty does not arise. For all who are passing away, and for non-males dissociated from knowledge who are being reborn, for them the wisdom faculty does not arise and the masculinity faculty does not arise.
