[615] For whom the nose faculty (ghānindriya) does not arise, does the masculinity faculty (purisindriya) not arise for that one?
For those who are without a nose and are male, as they are being reborn, the nose faculty does not arise for them, but it is not the case that the masculinity faculty does not arise for them. For all as they are passing away, and for those who are without a nose and are not male, as they are being reborn, both the nose faculty does not arise for them and the masculinity faculty does not arise.
Or, for whom the masculinity faculty does not arise, does the nose faculty not arise for that one?
For those who are not male and have a nose, as they are being reborn, the masculinity faculty does not arise for them, but it is not the case that the nose faculty does not arise for them. For all as they are passing away, and for those who are not male and are without a nose, as they are being reborn, both the masculinity faculty does not arise for them and the nose faculty does not arise.
