[704] For whomever, in whatever place, the masculinity faculty (purisindriya) does not arise, does the mind faculty (manindriya) not arise for that one in that place?
For those who are not male, who possess mind (sacittaka), and who are being reborn: for them in that place the masculinity faculty does not arise, but it is not the case that for them in that place the mind faculty does not arise. For all who are passing away, and for those without mind (acittaka) who are being reborn: for them in that place the masculinity faculty does not arise and the mind faculty does not arise.
Or rather, for whomever, in whatever place, the mind faculty does not arise, does the masculinity faculty not arise for that one in that place?
Yes (āmantā).
