Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 699

[699] For whomever, wherever, the masculinity faculty (purisindriya) does not arise, does the life faculty (jīvitindriya) not arise for that one there? For non-males (napurisā) who are being reborn, the masculinity faculty does not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the life faculty does not arise for them there. For all who are passing away, both the masculinity faculty does not arise and the life faculty does not arise for them there. Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the life faculty does not arise, does the masculinity faculty not arise for that one there? Yes.
