[64] "The mind (citta) that arises — does that mind not cease?"
"Yes."
"Or rather, the mind that does not cease — does that mind arise?"
"Past and future mind does not cease, but it is not the case that that mind arises; at the moment of arising (uppādakkhaṇa), mind both does not cease and arises."
"The mind that does not arise — does that mind cease?"
"Past and future mind does not arise, but it is not the case that that mind ceases; at the moment of dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa), mind both does not arise and ceases."
"Or rather, the mind that ceases — does that mind not arise?"
"Yes."
