Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 827

[827] For whomever, wherever, the masculinity faculty (purisindriya) has never arisen, has the life faculty (jīvitindriya) never arisen for that one there? For beings of the form sphere (rūpāvacara) and of the formless sphere (arūpāvacara), the masculinity faculty has never arisen for them there, but it is not the case that the life faculty has never arisen for them there. For beings of the pure abodes (suddhāvāsa), for them there both the masculinity faculty has never arisen and the life faculty has never arisen. Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the life faculty has never arisen, has the masculinity faculty never arisen for that one there? Yes (āmantā).
