[816] For whomever, wherever, the eye faculty (cakkhundriya) did not arise, did the life faculty (jīvitindriya) not arise for that one there?
For non-percipient beings (asaññasatta) and formless beings (arūpa), for them there the eye faculty did not arise, but it is not the case that for them there the life faculty did not arise. For beings of the Pure Abodes (suddhāvāsa), for them there the eye faculty did not arise and the life faculty did not arise.
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the life faculty did not arise, did the eye faculty not arise for that one there?
